"Pre-Sales - Data Engineer Roles and Responsibilities• Own and front-end technical discussions, demonstrations, presentations etc to clients across various stakeholders from C-level to data engineers • Work along with the sales and help sales team in closing deals• Work with the client engagement team to pro-actively identify opportunities in data technologies• Understand customer requirements, providing technical solutions and defining roadmap• Define and review data architecture solutions, processes, capacity planning, standards, and best practices - both on-premises/cloud• Design data migration architectures and best practices for customers• Provide solutions considering various architectural concerns e.g. Data Governance, Master Data Management, Meta-Data management, Data Quality Management, data security and privacy policies and procedures• Analyze and design highly scalable DW and BI solutions• Keeping abreast with latest developments in the industry; evaluating and recommending new and emerging data architectures/patterns, technologies, and standards• Assisting in the pre-sales process including: o Responding to RFI/RFPs and crafting thorough and compelling answerso Work along with the sales and client engagement teams and front-end the technical engagemento Providing technical solutions, assist in defining scope and sizing of work. o Delivering and/or directing pre-sales engagements to prove functional capabilities (POC’s or POV’s)o Develop statements of work and/or client proposals Experience:• 12+ years relevant data, big data, and analytics experience; 2-3+ years’ experience in pre-sales role• Functionally knowledgeable in multiple EDW, big data & NoSQL - both on-premises/cloud • Hands on experience in Snowflake, Big Data ecosystem (such as Hadoop, Spark, Presto, Hive), database (such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server), Data Warehouses (such as Redshift, Teradata, Exadata)• Proven track record in developing data strategies (including cloud) and best practices• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills; able to present highly technical subject matter across a variety of stakeholder levels• Education: B-Tech/BEPreferred Qualification:• M-Tech or MBA in IT/Systems preferred• AWS and/or Azure experience & certification• Experience in BFSI or healthcare domain"
